Taste our latest release Reserve Chardonnay, and some cellar treasures on Saturdays during May with winemaker James Tilbrook. Italian Master Pizza chef Enrico Sgarbossa is creating a specially paired menu option to complete the experience.

All about Chardonnay! James Tilbrook sees Chardonnay as one of the truly great wines of the world and has been passionately making high quality Chardonnay from his Lenswood vineyard since 2001.

Following on from the Dec 2019 Cudlee Creek bushfire which heavily impacted the vineyard, after much community support, four years of hard work and passion, the Tilbrook Estate Lenswood Hill Block Chardonnay has shown true resilience and is back in production! Tilbrook Estate is incredibly excited to have its very own new release Reserve Chardonnay now available.

English James spent 10 years working in London in the UK wine trade tasting and developing knowledge of the great Chardonnays of the Old and New World. With many holidays spent bicycling in France tasting the great Burgundian and Chablis wines which grew and fueled his passion.

Now combined with over twenty years experience making his own Chardonnay starting in the vineyard the result shows itself in every bottle.  Tilbrook Estate Chardonnay is known for its wonderful depth, flavour and length expressing the cool climate terroir of the multi-clonal steeply terraced Lenswood Hill Block Chardonnay. It is simply what a good Chardonnay should be!
