This is the first Barossa Shiraz we have made since 2004. Sourced from Ebenezer in the north of the Barossa Valley. We gave it all the usual care and attention that we give our hand made, small batch wines. The grapes were destemmed into open vats, fermented and hand plunged, then covered in insulation toi keep the vat warm. This helped extract more flavour and structure. The wine was aged in 1/3 new French oak hogsheads for 12 months then blended and prepared for bottling. We are very pleased with the result and hope you are too!
